Crestwood Continuing Education Units – Approved Courses

Crestwood is an Approved Provider with the Board of Registered Nursing, National Association of Social Workers, and the Nursing Home Administrators Program and offers the opportunity to earn continuing education units!

There are now opportunities for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) on the Crestwood Learning Center (CLC). To take advantage of these courses, navigate to your CLC learner home page. From there, you will find a playlist called Continuing Education (CE) listed under the Featured section (directly below your suggested courses). Within this playlist, there are several online trainings that you can complete for CE credit. After completing these trainings and the required knowledge checks, you will receive a CE Certificate that can be printed, downloaded, or saved to your device.

Learning & Performance Team (LPT) Update

Crestwood’s CINSERE Trainings
As we continue to provide educational opportunities for staff, we are developing another set of CINSERE (Crestwood In-Service Resource) trainings. CINSERE focuses on providing a library of in-service trainings for use at our campuses. Through these trainings, we aim to provide our campuses with a unified message that promotes our exemplary Crestwood values and fosters our Pillars of Recovery. CINSERE consists of several trainings that meet and exceed the standards for our Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), Community Care Licensing (CCL), and Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) requirements. With the implementation of these trainings, we are able to maintain an ongoing commitment to building an easy-to-access, high-quality online library that embodies our recovery approach using our CLC platform.

You can currently view or launch a variety of training courses utilizing the playlists featured on the learner home page of the Crestwood Learning Center (CLC)! Under Your Required Trainings you will find playlists curated for the level of care in which you work, that will meet most, if not all, required training topics and at least 20 hours. Check in with your Campus Educators to see which trainings may be best suited for you.

New Campuses & Programs

The San Franscisco Geary Stabilization Unit is Open!
Our new San Franscisco campus is open! The Geary Stabilization Unit is a unique addition to our programs. This campus is an unlocked Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) serving people with substance use disorders and individuals experiencing mental health challenges. The San Francisco Geary SU will serve up to 16 adults and was made possible through partnership with San Francisco Dept. of Public Health and San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie’s office. LPT continues to actively support the ongoing New Employee Orientations as the program gets up and running.
