Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Forum
Formerly known as the Healing Forum, the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Forum was created to support our diverse Crestwood community of employees and people we serve with a culture where all people feel they belong. Belonging starts with Crestwood values – Family, Compassion, Enthusiasm, Character, Flexibility, Commitment and integrates our Recovery Pillars of Hope, Meaningful Roles, Spirituality and Empowerment, so as to better empower individuals to ensure every life is meaningful and providing hope for a better tomorrow. With a goal of organizational inclusion, we will be focusing on embracing people for who they are; meeting the diverse needs of the people we serve, their families and the workforce; monitoring and adapting social changes and practices that promote a sense of belonging; and advocating for inclusion of marginalized individuals and groups.

Current EDI projects for 2021 include:

  1. Updating Crestwood's Diversity Plan to focus on Organizational Inclusion
  2. Providing a series of training webinars, TED talks and interactive learning opportunities to expand cultural responsiveness and competence
  3. Cultivating cultural humility, which is a humble and respectful attitude toward an individual’s culture, including the historical reality of that culture
